On Friday 14th March our group participated in a digital free brunch. We did this as an experiment to see how well we would do in abstaining from digital devices in a social setting. We switched off the radio, our cell phones and put away all other digital devices visible. Then we had a two hour brunch. It was a very positive experience, which led us to have actual conversations about digital media and other things without being disturbed by anything external. This picture was taken after the brunch from outside the kitchen, which we had declared a digital free space.
